Through the generosity of the Connelly Foundation, many of the top eighth grade students throughout the Archdiocese are provided with a four year, full scholarship to an Archdiocesan High School. Each year, approximately forty graduating eighth graders from all the Archdiocesan elementary schools are awarded one of these scholarships.
Students who meet the competitive academic requirements are invited to take an academic exam for this scholarship. Saint Ignatius School consistently has a large portion of their eighth grade students qualify for consideration for this prestigious award.
