Welcome to 1B!
My name is Mrs. Snyder. I am so happy to be a part of St. Ignatius School! I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education from Saint Joseph's University. After graduating, I substituted for two years until I finally got my own classroom in 2015. I taught at Holy Family School in Northampton County for 4 years. I taught first grade for 1 year and kindergarten for 3 years. I then moved to Connecticut for a year where I taught pre-k at The Goddard School of Monroe. Only a year later I moved back to PA where I taught kindergarten for 1 year at The Goddard School of Horsham. I taught second grade last year at SIS and am excited to be teaching first grade this year.
Philosophy of Education
I believe all children are unique and learn in different ways. It is my job as the teacher to figure out how my students learn best and to create a successful learning environment for all. It is my goal as a teacher to make learning hands on and fun. I want all my students to enjoy learning and coming to school each and every day!
